How it works

Start on the desktop, control from your phone

You just need your phone and computer on the same network — that’s enough to collaborate on a live presentation.

For host

Download and open the desktop app
Pick the version that matches your system from the download page, install and launch.

Approve desktop sign-in on your phone
Register or sign in on your phone, choose Scan to sign in on computer, scan the desktop sign-in QR code and approve.

Click Start meeting
The desktop creates the meeting and shows the QR code with a join code.

Display the QR code
Project the desktop screen onto your big display so participants can scan.

Manage the meeting and your plan
See participants and control permissions on your computer. Check account status in My account and manage subscriptions on your phone.

For participant

Open the mobile client
On first launch, register or sign in to PresentSync before entering the mobile home screen.

Join a meeting and scan its QR code
Choose Join meeting, then scan the QR code shown after the host starts a meeting, or enter its join code. This differs from the desktop sign-in QR code.

Enter the control screen
You’ll see the trackpad, tool row and slide controls.

Use the cursor and slide control
Every action shows up on the host’s computer and the big screen in real time.

If they don’t connect, double-check that both are on the same Wi-Fi and that the firewall allows PresentSync.
